It’s been a little while since I’ve done a beauty post and I recently received a lovely gift that came in a Jo Malone box. It was such a nice surprise and I absolutely love the scent, so thought I would share my thoughts on my newest addition to my perfume collection.
Product: Jo Malone | Star Magnolia Cologne 30 ml
Price: £46
Description (from Jo Malone): Delicate white blossoms bursting with spring’s sparkling charm. Star Magnolia is in bloom. Experience magnolia leaf and orange blossom with a kiss of lemon, ginger and shiso. Tantalising. Flirtatious
I always make a point to stop by the Jo Malone counter in the airport just to smell my favourites and see if there is anything new – there was. Rushing that morning I didn’t get a chance to put on any perfume, so I decided to spritz some of the Star Magnolia on myself and I instantly fell in love with it, but I really didn’t need another perfume. Fast forward 2 weeks later and a friend of mine surprised me with it! My friends really know me well.
The bottle has a beautiful frosted white effect on the bottom and a cute little flower decoration around the neck.
The scent is very crisp and refreshing, a perfect combination for spring with the lovely floral and lemon notes. Although I can’t really smell it, I love that there is sandalwood in it and there is definitely something that gives the overall scent a warmth.
Really enjoying this scent right now and can’t wait to wear it throughout the spring and summer seasons as London warms up!
This scent sounds amazing. I love florals. I’ll definitely have to test the Magnolia scent out. You have a wonderful writing style. Just stumbled upon your blog today and I’m in love. Great post, liked and subscribed. Check out my blog sometime? https://noirerewritten.com
Have a good day!

I like Star Magnolia too, very much! My heart belongs to JM’s Blue Hyacinth right now, though.
