Every year for the last 5 years, my best girl friends from uni would do holiday somewhere. It started quite small with NYC and then Vegas, but then we started expanding to Maui and then last year visiting me in London. This year was no exception and we did essentially a food tour around Spain!
I’m back from my month away and I’m back with my last photo diary of my spring break trip! Last stop on my spring break trip was a 10-day trip to Indonesia, 2 days in Jakarta and 8 days in Bali. No better way to end a month-long holiday by spending a week and a half unwinding and getting all my needed Vit D.
Spring break part 2! Next stop after India, Myanmar for a week of Pagoda hunting! I’ve now seen in the thousands of pagodas and buddha statues in Mandalay, Bagan, Inle Lake, and just a bit of Yangon.
This is going one of a series of three photo diaries on one of my last big travel excursions of my MBA experience. The first part of my travels was to India for my MBA Global Business Experience in Dehradun and Mumbai. Taking advantage of my flights to India, I thought I would take an extra few days before hand to hit up Delhi and Agra too!
It’s been a little while since I’ve taken a long weekend trip, so I was quite excited to do a 5-day trip to Marrakech and the Sahara desert with a group of 8. It took me a good full day after landing in Marrakech to realise that I was in Africa!
One of my good friends in the MBA got married over the holidays in Seoul, South Korea! I was so excited and honoured to have been invited and also just excited to be back in Asia…again. My friend and I decided to do some extra traveling abroad and also hit up Jeju in South Korea, and Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand.
My newest favorite activity to do while on holidays is cooking classes. What better way to experience a culture than through their food? And that is exactly what I did on my first trip to Thailand, learn how to make some of their most famous dishes (and then eat them!)
One of the greatest perks of the MBA has been having the time to travel and have your very international network show you around their hometown! This trip took me to the Cuba, a land that is a picturesque country frozen in the image of the 1950s with old cars rolling around everywhere.
It has been 2 weeks since classes have started up again and I’m just getting back into the swing of things. What better way to de-stress than a long weekend in Paris with some girlfriends filled with shopping, wine, and food.
