I cannot believe it is 2017, let alone already the end of February. The day after I was back from holiday in January I hit the ground running with the gym. First class back was BJJ and it was tough, but I loved being back at it! The last 6 months of 2016 showed me all I needed was the right activities to keep me motivated and I was determined to continue the trend.
Wearing sunscreen has a lot of health benefits by protecting your skin from the harmful radiation of the sun. It reduces your risk for skin cancer and premature aging such as as wrinkles and sunspots. However it’s not just for when you’re lounging at the beach or when it’s particularly sunny.
It’s getting close to that time of year again where everyone is making resolutions for the new year. One of the most popular one is of course, fitness. The gyms must be overwhelmed and flooded with new customers, only to have most of them disappear by February.
Getting gifts for any guys in my life is so stressful, I never know what to get them. I tend to lean toward 2 categories: fashion or tech. Men are always boys at heard and love their toys, whether it be tech or legos, but getting them a new fashionable wallet is never a bad idea!
It’s that time of year again where we spend our free time looking for the perfect gifts for our loved ones. I know I am constantly browsing the web for some helpful ideas on what limited edition holiday gifts are out there or the perfect gifts for travel-obsessed or beauty-obsessed. Any of these gifts would make me feel so special. There is everything from the stocking stuffer to the gift for a special someone.
It’s a dream to finally have purchased my first designer bag and let me tell you that the decision was hard. There are so many good classics to choose from and after some serious thought, I can’t be happier with my decision to go with the Saint Laurent Large Shopping Tote in Burgundy. Unfortunately the burgundy colour is no longer available, but the new season’s colours are.
After university I easily spent 8+ hours staring at a screen everyday at work. My optometrist year after year would tell me how my eyes were being strained and asked that I take more breaks at work to take off the stress. The strain on my eyes caused them to be red, watery, and dry. So to take some stress off my eyes, I had my prescription glasses made with anti-glare/anti-reflective coating and also own a non-prescriptive pair that are especially for looking at screens.
It’s hard to believe that just over a year ago I hopped on a plane and landed in London Heathrow Airport with my mom, a handful of suitcases, and no place to live yet. I couldn’t imagine how my life would change and the priceless journey I was about to embark on.
