Last but not least of my monthlong travels was to Indonesia: Jakarta for 2 days and then to beautiful Bali! As I didn’t really spend much time in Jakarta I’m going to skip straight to telling you all about Bali.
Myanmar, previously known as Burma, is one of those places that has opened up to tourism in the last 5 or so years and is relatively untouched. It is already starting to pick up, but still was a beautiful country to visit, so do it before it becomes too popular of a destination!
I am drooling just thinking back on my experience at Eslava in Seville, Spain. It was one of those places that was ranked pretty highly in tripadvisor and was right around the corner from where we were staying, so we decided to drop in.
Every year for the last 5 years, my best girl friends from uni would do holiday somewhere. It started quite small with NYC and then Vegas, but then we started expanding to Maui and then last year visiting me in London. This year was no exception and we did essentially a food tour around Spain!
I was quite nervous and excited about my 10 days in India. More than likely I was way over-prepared for the experiences I was about to have, but in my head better safe than sorry! I’m sharing all my tips and tricks of how I survived India.
After a week in Barcelona chowing down on a lot of seafood and a day of traveling, I was ready for some food, in particular…meat! My friend had made a reservation prior to our arrival, so we had to patiently wait until it was time to eat.
I’m back from my month away and I’m back with my last photo diary of my spring break trip! Last stop on my spring break trip was a 10-day trip to Indonesia, 2 days in Jakarta and 8 days in Bali. No better way to end a month-long holiday by spending a week and a half unwinding and getting all my needed Vit D.
Spring break part 2! Next stop after India, Myanmar for a week of Pagoda hunting! I’ve now seen in the thousands of pagodas and buddha statues in Mandalay, Bagan, Inle Lake, and just a bit of Yangon.
This is going one of a series of three photo diaries on one of my last big travel excursions of my MBA experience. The first part of my travels was to India for my MBA Global Business Experience in Dehradun and Mumbai. Taking advantage of my flights to India, I thought I would take an extra few days before hand to hit up Delhi and Agra too!
I’m embarking on a 4 week holiday to India, Myanmar and Indonesia and my goal was to stick everything in my 60L Quechua pack and North Face Recon backpack as a carry-on/day pack. Thought this was the perfect chance to showcase some tips & tricks for packing lightly for a long holiday.
