2016 | A Parisian Weekend Getaway

It has been 2 weeks since classes have started up again and I’m just getting back into the swing of things.  What better way to de-stress than a long weekend in Paris with some girlfriends filled with shopping, wine, and food.

We stayed in the Les Marais district in Paris, a short stroll to Notre Dame.  The SOHO of Paris, which is filled with cafés and boutique shops, was the perfect home base for us 4 girls to celebrate a birthday!

Although we did hit up some of the touristy spots on our wandering around, we explored the shopping and foodie scenes more.  On our 2nd night we booked a dinner experience through EatWith, a site where you can book dining experiences with chefs in the comfort of their homes.  The 4 of us spent the evening being wined and dined by Masterchef Jean Yves along with 7 other strangers.  I’ve written a foodie post about my experience here!

Shopping wise, I’ve finally picked up my first Longchamp bag, as well as some bits and pieces from Cos, Massimo Dutti, and Oysho.
