A cult favorite and a Charlotte Tilbury classic, the Filmstar Bronze & Glow is a must have for any beauty junkie. And I finally have my hands on it after a spontaneous shopping trip at Selfridges.
Price: £49
I’ve been eyeing up this duo for a couple of years now and just couldn’t justify buying it given the price tag, but let me say I am in love with this product for everyday makeup.
The packaging as per usual is stunning and reminds me of old Hollywood glamour with its gold finish. It has a bit of weight to it and gives the feeling of luxury, but as I mentioned in my Matte Revolution lipstick review, it still has a slight plastic-y feel.
The product itself is buttery smooth and gives an even and natural application of bronzer and highlight. I do think for me the bronzer is a touch to light and is better suited to someone who is lighter than I am, but it works perfectly for a slight sunkissed look. I do however disagree this should be used for sculpting as there is a bit of sheen to the powder.
If you are into the the in-your-face highlight, this may not be for you. This is another one of those products I love for my everyday wears when I want a bit of a glow, but nothing that is too intense.
Conclusion: It’s great for everyday looks and for those with skin on the lighter side. But the packaging is gorgeous and its staying on my vanity for display.
