PHYTO | Phytopolléine Botanical Scalp Treatment

I always feel like I am shedding so much hair everyday that I must be going bald.  After so many years of still having hair on my head, I figured I grew more hair than I thought, but that didn’t stop me from finding ways to keep my hair healthy and strong.  Between the heat styling and all the products I use on my scalp/hair I wanted something to undo any buildup.  A Sephora employee recommended the PHYTO Phytopolléine Botanical Scalp Treatment.

Price: $40 USD

This product is meant to purify, exfoliate and energise the scalp where hair growth begins.  It removes the buildup of product that can block the follicles where your hair grows allowing for more hair growth and stronger roots.

As I forget to use this on a regular basis, I typically use this as an intensive treatment every other week and leave it on over night and wash it out in the morning.  Otherwise you can use it 1-2 times a week and leave it in for about 20 minutes.  It has quite a strong herb and menthol smell, which I personally quite like, but may not be for everyone.

If you are looking for quick results, this will not be the product for you.  Patience is a virtue in this case, as you won’t see results until you have used the product for at least a few weeks.  I noticed a ton of baby hair growth after about a month of use and my hair felt thicker and shed less.

It is a bit pricey, but the bottle lasts you ages and I definitely believe it has improved the look and health of my hair.
