it’s a 10 | Potion 10 Miracle Instant Repair Leave-in

I’ve never been big on hair products as usually I get too lazy to remember to style it outside of leaving it straight, but there has always been so much hype around the it’s a 10 leave-in conditioner, I had to give it a try.  I did decide to pick up their Potion 10 version to see what the hype was all about.

Price: $24.70

Product: it’s a 10 Potion Miracle Instant Repair Leave-in

This version of the famous it’s a 10 leave-in conditioner is supposed to have “an extra dose of repair and restoration” for your hair.  While the it’s a 10 claims that all their products will:

  1. instant detangling
  2. prevants breakage
  3. extends color treated hair
  4. adds shine
  5. ultra moisturizing
  6. heat protectant
  7. de frizzes
  8. strengthens hair
  9. ph balanced
  10. seals cuticle

After you shower you spray the product evenly throughout the wet hair and brush your hair to detangle hair and distribute the product.  The product comes in a spray bottle that makes it easy to spritz the product into your hair.

I usually use about 4-5 sprays on my wet hair and use my hands to scrunch the product into my hair more evenly.  It leaves a nice, pretty typical, hair product smell that I quite enjoy.

As I have pretty straight hair, I can’t say much to the detangling abilities, but I can definitely see why the hype.  It leaves my hair feeling silkier and really gives it a nice gloss when dried.  Although a bit on the pricey side, I would really recommend it to my friends looking for a all-in-one product.
