Paris Eats | Le Dôme du Marais

Looking for a nice place to eat in Paris?  Our last night in Paris we decided to check out one of the suggestions from the locals that we met during EatWith (check out my review here!)  Le Dôme du Marais is a cute place located in the center le Marais district of Paris.  You first enter into a brightly decorated sunroom area, perfect for the afternoon stop.  A little further in and you enter the main dining space located underneath a beautiful glass and metal dome.

After being seated, we were given a cute beetroot based starter while we choose our courses.  The taste was surprising given the colour and presentation, but absolutely delicious.  We decided on a bottle of red wine and then shared all our food so we could try it all out.

Starters:

  • Butternut squash soup
  • Carpaccio of sea bream, Beet & Yuzu
  • boiled egg with truffle, artichoke & wild mushroom cream

Mains:

  • Beef tartare way “loc lac” & roasted apple earth
  • Steak with figs

For the amount we ate and drank, we really got our money’s worth for such a nice meal.  All-in-all we spent about €120 for 2 people…not bad!
