This was my first time in Africa and in a Muslim country and I definitely did a bit of research before jetting off and thought I would share everything I learned and would suggest for those interested in visiting! I had a wonderful time with my friends and have shared my top moments in my […]
It’s been a little while since I’ve taken a long weekend trip, so I was quite excited to do a 5-day trip to Marrakech and the Sahara desert with a group of 8. It took me a good full day after landing in Marrakech to realise that I was in Africa!
I’ve been in a cooking frenzie lately and absolutely loved my experience in Thailand at Silom Cooking School, so of course my friends and I got another lesson in the local cuisine in Morocco! Cafe Clock is both a cafe and cooking school that attracts the foreigner crowd, which was apparently opened by a Brit.
I’ve got quite a few holidays coming up, starting with Marrakech, Morocco! As someone who has such a large cosmetics collection, I find it incredibly difficult to pack lightly when I travel. I love options, but I also hate lugging around too much so I thought I would share what makes it into my travel […]
I finished off my 2016-2017 winter holidays and started off the new year with a beach holiday in Phuket, Thailand after spending NYE in Bangkok. Some of these have been schools treks and others have been individually planned trips and I thought I would start a new series of blog posts giving my tips for each destination and my favorite spots I visited. […]
One of my good friends in the MBA got married over the holidays in Seoul, South Korea! I was so excited and honoured to have been invited and also just excited to be back in Asia…again. My friend and I decided to do some extra traveling abroad and also hit up Jeju in South Korea, […]
My newest favorite activity to do while on holidays is cooking classes. What better way to experience a culture than through their food? And that is exactly what I did on my first trip to Thailand, learn how to make some of their most famous dishes (and then eat them!)
My first time in Jeju was a bit miserably rainy and cold, but there was one particular surprise highlight that made it all better. It was our last food stop before heading straight to the airport and it was a small little hidden restaurant in Yeog-dong.
